About Our
Foundation
The Karen Ingram Foundation began in 2008 and raises funds for research into the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in memory of Karen Jane Ingram, a mother of two from Portsmouth who sadly passed away from the disease in July of that year , aged just 40.
Between 2008 and 2019 we raised thousands of pounds for a variety of good causes , primarily benefitting cancer patients and their families.
In 2020 we became a registered charity in our own right.
Since 2020 we have donated over £20,000 in financial grants to medical researchers who undertake clinical cancer trials to see which treatments are most effective at beating the disease.

2008
Following the death of Karen Ingram, a fundraising evening is organised in her memory. This was held at the Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway and raises over £3,500 for the QA Hospital in Portsmouth.
2009
Muddles The Bear is born and sets off on his 'Fundraising Mission'.
2020
The Karen Ingram Foundation becomes a registered charity with a sole aim to raise awareness and improve survival rates in to the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
2021
Muddles teams up with 'The Show Shop' to create his very own fundraising single.
'Follow Muddles The Bear' is released and reaches No.1 in the UK children's charts.
