The Karen Ingram Foundation began in 2008 and raises funds for research in to the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in memory of Karen Jane Ingram, who sadly passed away from the disease in July of that year , aged just 40.
Since 2020 we have provided over £10,000 in financial grants for medical researchers to undertake clinical cancer trials in to the disease.
Following the death of Karen Ingram, a fundraising evening is organised in her memory. This was held at the Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway and raises over £3,500 for the QA Hospital in Portsmouth.
Muddles The Bear is born and sets off on his 'Fundraising Mission'.
The Karen Ingram Foundation becomes a registered charity with a sole aim to raise awareness and improve survival rates in to the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Muddles teams up with 'The Show Shop' to create his very own fundraising single.
'Follow Muddles The Bear' is released and reaches No.1 in the UK children's charts.
